A practical, real-world course, grounded in what matters
This isn’t about abstract theory or scary technical jargon. You’ll learn how to design, write, and structure content that meets WCAG 2.2 standards: and you’ll know how to interpret those guidelines, and apply to them your day-to-day work.
But we won't stop there. Real inclusion goes way beyond legal compliance, and standards that are a work in progress. You will learn how to not leave people behind, making sure your designs and content reach as many people as possible: and therefore, converting more.
Every module includes real-world examples, accessible design practices, and explicit references to WCAG success criteria: all explained clearly and accessibly (of course).

Course topics include:
- Foundations of accessible design
- An overview of legislation (I am not a lawyer)
- Role of semantic HTML
- Inclusive design principles
- Typography
- Colour and contrast
- Images and visuals
- Accessible interactions (links, navigation, forms, buttons, modals)
- Designing for cognitive accessibility
- Working with branding and visual identity
- Working in accessible teams: design–dev–content collaboration
- Accessible design in practice: basic testing, tools and tips
- AI and accessibility
- Inclusive social media
- Bonus: Accessibility: the best creative brief
- Bonus: The business case for accessibility
Why this course, and not another one-off workshop
Workshops are great (I deliver them myself!). But they require everyone to be present, alert, and available: on the same day, at the same time, usually for a few hours at least. And you can only cover a topic at a time.
The Accessible Design and Content Course goes deeper. It’s self-paced and comprehensive, so your team can:
- Learn at their own rhythm
- Go back and revisit topics as needed
- Share a common language and understanding
- Apply the lessons right away to real projects
It’s the kind of long-lasting investment that actually changes how people work.
And if you want to supplement it with live sessions or tailored reviews, that’s possible too.

What you’ll be able to do by the end
- Design accessible typography, colour palettes, layouts and interactions
- Create inclusive visuals, web pages, app screens, and social content
- Collaborate with everyone else in your team
- Understand, interpret, and apply WCAG 2.2 with confidence
- Spot and fix accessibility issues using simple tools
- Make a strong business case for accessibility in your org
- Advocate for inclusion beyond legal compliance
- Integrate accessibility into your process, and get others on board
Your company needs this. Yesterday.
We don't like to lead by fear. But unfortunately, one thing is true for sure: the world’s accessibility laws are changing fast. Especially in Europe, where the European Accessibility Act became enforceable in June 2025 – but also globally.
That means companies must ensure their websites, digital products, and content are accessible, or risk losing public contracts, facing legal action, and excluding a huge part of their audience.
But most teams aren’t ready. And it’s not because they don’t care: it’s because no one has shown them how.
That’s what, and who, this course is for.

Who this course is for
- Designers (UX, UI, brand, visual, product)
- Content designers and strategists
- Marketing and communications teams
- Developers working closely with design or content
- Anyone responsible for creating or maintaining digital content
What will be inside the course

From typography and colour to team collaboration, each module will be crafted to help you apply accessibility in real-world scenarios, without sacrificing creativity or clarity. Titles and modules are not finalised yet: however, all the topics below will be included.

This is a pre-sale
During this early access phase, the modules will first be delivered as live online sessions in lecture format, starting in late September (date to be confirmed). You’ll be invited to each session, and will have the chance to ask questions and give feedback at the end of each session. These live sessions will be recorded, and the final edited versions will be added to the course platform in stages.
All final recordings will be uploaded no later than 31 January 2026 — or, at the very latest, because life happens, by 31 March 2026.
So no, you’re not left waiting. You’ll get to learn and interact as the course is built, and then benefit from the fully polished version later.

Let accessibility lead the way to better work.
Accessible design isn’t a box to tick: it’s the foundation of good design.
This course will show you how to make it part of everything you create: not as a burden, but as a spark for better, clearer, more human-centred work.
Cherry on the cake: you will also build more compliant products, to keep legal hassles at bay.
Worried your team doesn’t have time?
That’s the point... this course saves time by giving you ready-to-use, practical lessons to apply as you go.
I've designed this from the ground up for busy professionals. It’s far more effective than a one-hour overview or a single 3-4 hour workshop: while it takes the time to go deeper, wider, and straight to the point, it is also conveniently split into easily digestible lessons, easy to find, learn from, and apply.
This course is for you if:
- You’re aware of the European Accessibility Act, ADA, and other global legislation that means you need to act fast: but you’re overwhelmed and not sure where to begin.
- You want your team or company to be confident and consistent in delivering accessible digital products and content.
- You’re a freelancer or small agency eager to sharpen your accessible design skills so you can offer new, high‑value services to your clients.
- You know that accessible design isn’t just compliance: it’s the future of digital work, and a smart business growth strategy.
- You want training that goes beyond a one‑off workshop, giving you and/or your staff lifetime access to resources you can revisit whenever you need them.
This course is not for you if:
- You or your company have no control or influence over the content, design, or digital products you produce.
- You don’t care whether your content is accessible to everyone.
- You assume legislation doesn’t apply to you, and have just "de-prioritised" accessibility work.
- You believe personal taste should override accessibility standards
- You think that your creativity mustn’t be “restricted” by other people’s right to access your content.
- You think accessibility is just the developer’s job, and not worth your design or content team’s time.
“Loved the Masterclass!”

Meet your trainer

I’m Piccia Neri, a designer turned accessibility advocate. I empower design and marketing teams to create digital experiences that actually work for all users.
My background is in art, branding, and UX. But once I discovered accessibility, I became obsessed with how it can transform design into something more usable, more effective, and more inclusive. Once you get started with accessibility, there is no looking back.
Over the years, I’ve worked with and trained teams at major global brands including PUMA, Cloudways, and the BFI. I’ve spoken at leading industry events like WordCamp Europe, WordCamp Asia, UX Copenhagen, Beyond Tellerrand, and Hatch. I regularly run engaging, effective workshops for designers, developers, content strategists and marketers who want to build better, more inclusive digital products.
This is the course I wish I’d had when I started out. It’s clear, practical, and grounded in real-world experience. Whether you're a solo operator looking to stand out by offering accessibility to your clients, or a company wanting to empower your team, you’ll come away with the knowledge and confidence to embed accessibility into your everyday practice.
If you believe digital should be inclusive, not exclusive, while complying with legislation: this is for you.
